Terms and conditions
This is a summary of Aesthetec’s terms and conditions for the uses of their services. If you use any of Aesthetec’s creations, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
Terms for creations
In accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, the copyright of all images created by the creator is owned by the creator. Unless the creator gives written authorization, the Client is forbidden by law to copy any images created by the creator and agree that all photographic reprints, raw footage, digital duplications or copies of any type made from images created by the creator shall only be carried out by the creator.
The license to reproduce such images is granted to the client on the understanding that the license is only granted once all payments are made in full. Reproduction rights are strictly limited to the use specified on the creator invoice, quotation and/or agreement. An agreement must be reached with the creator before the images are used for a different purpose or after the license has expired. The creator reserves the right to charge an additional fee if the images are used for purposes other than what is shown on the invoice, quotation and/or agreement.
The license to reproduce requires that the creator ‘(C) (creators name)’ will be credited on or in reasonable proximity to all published reproductions of the images. The creator also asserts their statutory and moral right to be identified in the circumstances set out in Sections 77-79 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 or any amendment or re-enactment thereof.
If Client wishes to own the copyright of images created by the creator, an additional fee will be paid by Client to the creator for transferring the copyright. The transfer of copyright will only become applicable after this payment has been made in full.
The creator reserves the right to edit and release only the images that are deemed creditable as professional in quality and within the creator’s standards. Finished images must not be modified (edited, filtered, cropped) without the written permission of the creator unless the copyright paid in full. All original negatives, transparencies and digital files created by the creator remain the property of the creator.
The final images completed from the projects will be shared via a shared google drive.
Aesthetec acknowledges that they may be involved in or become aware of information that relates to the client on a personal level including information related to the client’s supplier information, customer names, marketing plans and project information.
Aesthetec agrees to protect all the above information and keep any information obtained confidential. However, Aesthetec will be permitted to display final work on their website or in promotional materials.
Mock-ups created for the client are protected by copyright. The client will require a commercial license to use them for their business. Without this, they are unable to use the mock-ups created. If clients require a mock-up preview, they must request it by writing. Once the mock-up has been created, the user won’t be allowing to edit the preview in any way (inclusive but not limited to) cropping, filtering and more. This is to ensure that the mock-ups won’t be used to be recreated by another creative as an example or to be used without Aesthetec’s permission.

Terms for Website design and maintenance
Any mock-ups and design aspects have been designed by Charlie Jim. Coding is not part of Charlie Jim’s website design service and will not be expected. Content (visual or written) will not be provided unless the client has paid for this service. To maintain or to complete areas of content on the website, the client is responsible for and must give the correct information required to post the website and meet the agreed deadline. The information must be given to Charlie Jim from the client in reasonable time or it may affect meeting the publishing deadline.
Once the web design has been completed, Charlie Jim will complete an evaluation meeting with the client to cover the sign off form. When the web design has been signed off, Charlie Jim will then be passing all permissions to the client’s chosen Wix account.
Without the evaluation, the client will not have full access to permissions on the site. Once the client agrees for the new website to go live on the internet (publish), then they are agreeing that they are fully satisfied with the work. Any changes after the sign off will be in the liability of the client. Any additional work required on the website after the site has gone live is chargeable work. Charlie Jim will not be responsible or liable for issues for web hosting. For further guidance for support, the client must submit a ticket or contact Wix themselves. ( )
Any font, graphics or icons used are either owned by Andrew Price, created by Aesthetec or commercially licensed by Wix.
Website maintenance includes the following: Changes to written or visual content, uploading video, creating lightboxes for events or sales, visibility to pages or certain features, create coupons or discounts on your ecommerce site, logging tickets to Wix on your behalf, troubleshooting.
Website maintenance do not include the following: Structural changes to the website, rebranding of the website, change in website colours, structural changes to pages, adding additional pages, content writing for legal documents, customer service on your businesses behalf, social media management, creation of campaign content (must be completed to create lightboxes etc), addition to coding features. Content creation, training, training consultations
The commercial license enables the buyer to use the images for commercial purposes in communications designed to sell their products or services such as a catalogue, brochure, or on some other form of advertisement.
Without this, you will not be allowed to use these creations and we advise the immediate removal of our content accordingly as the copyright owner. You will also be responsible for the time you have used these creations and will be contacted. By licensing the creations will not reserves the right to edit. The creation has released only the images that are deemed creditable as professional in quality and within the creator’s standards. Finished images must not be modified (edited, filtered, cropped) without the written permission of the creator unless the copyright paid in full.
All quotations and prices are under the discretion of Aesthetec. The final amount is broken up by the following:
Time taken to create
Type of service required
Difficulty in skill required
Addition edit time
Additional time taken outside of original set time
Payments must be made on the dates that are on the payment schedule, paid in full or any time before the last payment date. If there are any issues making the payment, the client must give Aesthetec 24 hours’ notice. If the client hasn’t been in contact or given notice of a late payment, Aesthetec reserves the rights to charge interest on all overdue invoices at the rate of 8% per month additionally until said invoices have been paid in full.
Some quotations will be included discounts of the overall cost, in return of a reference on Aesthetec services and support on building Aesthetec’s services laid out in the agreement. If this has not been completed within 30 days of the completion of the project then the client recognizes that the discount is no longer available to them and will be required to pay the rest equalling the full price within 30 days of completion, any delayed time will result to the overdue charges as mentioned within the payment schedule.
Some projects will include the use of freelancers, subcontractors, and creators as Aesthetec’s commitment to supporting local and start-up talent. creators will be discussed with clients prior the start of the project to verify if the involvement is suitable. Once the client has accepted, Aesthetec will introduce them to the project. Creators will have their own rates unless else mentioned by Aesthetec and will be presented on one overall invoice. Any additional charges post-project will be displayed separately. All communications regarding the project, client and collaborator will be done through Aesthetec. Any requests for a project must be provided in writing to Aesthetec by email in a reasonable time for the creator to receive.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
If a project is cancelled or postponed, all monies paid are retained by Aesthetec and if the client cancels a contracted project at any point after the work commences, the client will be liable for all work charges incurred up to the cancellation point.
Once the client agrees for the website to go live on the internet, then the client is agreeing that they are fully satisfied with the work and no future refunds can be given for the fees paid. To cancel website maintenance the client must give Aesthetec one months written notice, once received the website maintenance will end 28 days from the notice given.
We gather and use certain information in order to provide services to you. We collect information from site/contact registrants and initial contact. If you provide your data and give us permission, we will use your data to maintain contact with you. You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may not be able to provide you with some of your desired services.
We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except when required to by law.
Our website may have links to external sites that are not operated by us, meaning we have no control over the content and practices of these sites and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their actions. Your continued use of our website will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information.

Changes may be necessary to this policy to reflect legal or data processing developments. If we change the policy, we will provide information on our website so that users can review the changes. Any significantly different use of your data will be communicated to you and you will be able to choose whether you agree to the new use.
This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, photography, videography, and graphics. Our material is protected by copyright and you will need permission to use them, to do this please get in touch.
All users of Aesthetec’s creations is bound by these terms and conditions and are accessible throughout the project and on our website. Without following our terms and conditions, you will not be allowed to use these creations and we advise the immediate removal of our content accordingly as the copyright owner. You will also be responsible for the time you have used these creations and will be contacted. You can appeal this with Aesthetec but if the parties are unable to come to a mutual arrangement an external mediator will be in contact.
